House extension in Ford
Photographed from the first survey visit through to handover.
The job
A timber-clad extension on an old brick house, built from the slab up.
The slab went down with insulation and steel mesh. A steel beam spans the opening for the garden doors, and the roof timbers go on against a blockwork gable.
The finished extension is clad in timber, with glazed doors onto the garden.
